![]() About a ¼ mile past this climb, you'll come to a T in the trail. You'll cross the third bridge and continue through the gully until you cross the fourth and final bridge followed immediately by a steep grunt of a climb. ![]() Now you are in the namesake section of Plumber’s Crack. Please don’t climb Rock n’ Roll and be careful of fast-moving traffic as you climb towards it. In about a ½ mile you'll run straight into the bottom of Rock n’ Roll, here Plumber’s breaks off to the right. As you climb out of the gully, you'll see three of the downhill routes that drop into Plumber’s on your left, first The Plunge and then Wapiti Whip and Desolation Ridge. You'll drop into a gully, crossing a dry stream bed, and from here you'll climb for the rest of the trail. (If you are looking for a quick ride, you can take a right onto Zip n’ Out or the lower section of Wapiti Whip after this section, both take off to your right). You are now into the fun banked turns of the Twist and Shout section of Plumber’s. At the bottom of the short, steep section, stay to the right, there is a little renegade trail that takes off to the left just as the steep part ends and you do not want to go that way. The downhill will break off to the left and drop off steeply, or you can go straight at this point for a mellow switchbacked descent (this is more often used when climbing this section). The trail will split in about 150 yards, this is just an uphill and downhill route of the same trail. Stop here for a second and check out the great view over town.Īs you continue, you'll start to descend. You'll cross the first of four bridges followed by a quick climb, another quick descent to the second bridge, then a little grunt up to Dead Dear Point. As soon as you drop in you'll hit a few fun banked downhill turns and pass the eastern end of Bang Zoom on your right. The trail starts at CC's Corner, at the bottom of the Ridge of Doom. It can be ridden in either direction, but these directions describe the outbound, west-to-east, route. It also intersects with Zip n' Out and Bang Zoom. The main outbound route to access Wapiti Whip, Lower Rock'N'Roll, or Herfendoodle.
